Vehicle Detail

Tenth Anniversary Edition Trans Am. It has #'s matching 403 Oldsmobile motor mated to the original TH-350 transmission. The Oldsmobile motor runs very strong, the car was on the road earlier this year, with the exception of the windshield washer pump, clock, and cruise control, everything works. You may notice the odometer reading, it has flipped due to the fact the car has a metric guage. The car was originally shipped to Alberta Canada as verified through PHS and the cars own build sheet, which I have. I will send the PHS and build sheet to anyone who asks via e-mail if you are serious about the car. As far as appearance is concerned, obviously it has replacement sheetmetal from Desert Valley Auto Parts on it, that includes new radiator support, two new front fenders, and hood, everything is there it just needs paint. The undercarriage is extremely clean, it still retains basically all of its original undercoating. The car was involved in a front end collision, a very low speed one apparently. The front sub-frame was not bent in the collision but simply pushed back slightly where the body mount bushings mount to the floor pans. I have a receipt from a competent and professional body shop in White Plains, New York that loosened the bushing bolts pulled the sub-frame forward and snugged the bolts back up. If this was a newer car the damage would have been a lot more serious, the cross member under the motor in these cars is quite a mass of steel, it would take a serious high speed frontal collision to warp it. The damage was, fortunately, superficial, it was in the sheetmetal, rad support, fenders. I am not getting rid of the car because it is junk or unfixable, quite the contrary. I have had this car for 10 years, having bought it damaged, I knew there was work to be done. I have driven the car in the past, and most recently this past summer I put about 1,000 mile on it, not so much as one problem. These cars are very fun to drive, if you've ever driven one before you know the feeling. Finally got around to having it measured out by a professional body shop this year, and thankfully it was not bent, the car was improperly repaired when I bought it. It still had a crumpled radiator support, misaligned bumper reinforcement, and the sub-frame was not in position. Everything is now properly repaired with solid, straight parts, I've done the dirty work with this car, it just needs to be painted now. You're looking at a mechanically sound vehicle with a very solid body, the interior is even in completely usable condition, is it perfect? No absolutely not, but its original, and not bad for its age. This would easily be made into a nice daily driver, or if you wanted to go the restoration route, there wouldn't be a lot of heavy duty stuff to do really, car is basically all there. I have extras that go with the sale of the car, new weatherstrips, grilles, and front air dam. Please, do not hesitate to send questions via e-mail. I will gladly answer them, the car is what it is, nothing to hide. I realize I have no eBay history, simply because I do not use eBay until recently. Thanks for looking,Mike
