Vehicle Detail

1963 Ford FAIRLANE 500 Street Strip Show This 63 Fairlane started life as a daily driver and changed hands a time or two and some years later was abandoned and left for the worst. Then this rust free Jewel was found and destined for a rotissierie restoration and to be built like no other. The Fairlane you see here today is the final product and it is one of the best built Fairlanes on the road today with no expences spared in this pro build!!!!!!!!!! This 63 was a rust free car and prepped then sprayed with PPG basecoat clearcoat Sunset Orange. The body was also treated to all new factory tinted glass and every piece of trim and chrome was either replaced or refurbished to brand new condition. The chrome on the sides of the Fairlane also features a custom mixed color on the inset that matches the interior of the car. This 63 comes with two hoods, 1 is the infamous Ford reverse teardrop and the other is a cowl style hood and both are fiberglass. The interior of the 63 is absolutley immaculate. It features a complete custom all new interior. You will be riding in style in the custom bucket seats while being strapped in with the RJS 5 point harnesses. The back seat is the original that has been cut down to accomodate the mini tubs and the 10 point cage. While driving the 63 you can keep an eye on the vitals via the AutoMeter gauges mounted in the factory dash while shifting the tranny with the 1/4 stick coming through the custom console and listening to tunes on the am/fm/cd player. You can always feel safe in this Fairlane with the RJS harnesses, window net and the custom 10 point NHRA Certified Cage along with the Firebottle fire system and the 14 gallon fuel cell. Now lets talk power. This 987 Horse Power (on pump gas) John Kaase built aluminum headed Ford motor is all that. This is a Kaase 598 cubic inch 10 to 1 with the best of the best internals and cost over $38.000 for the build. The NOS system was plumbed by Gene Fulton and with a tune and nitrous the motor is well over 1200 HP. All that power gets to the ground via a JW Glide with a 3600 stall and shifted with a Hurst 1/4 Stick. The power tranfers from there via a Carbonfiber Driveshaft and gets to the ground through a Mark Williams (MW) modular 9 inch Ford with 370 MW gears. The Chassis was built to drive and race. The smooth riding chassis features a Heidts tubular A arm front end and has rack and pinion steering which is controlled by a Flaming River Stainless column and custom wheel. All that power gets planted to the asphalt through a 4 link rear suspension featuring all MW componets, coil overs and a wishbone track locator for those super straight launches. When its time to slow down you will be stopping with MW liteweight 4 piston calipers on all four corners while riding on Weld Dragstars 15x3.5 up front and 15x12's on the rear wrapped in MT rubber. This Fairlane currently runs 9:20's @ 159mph in the 1/4 with the tight converter. It can easily run 8:50's with a loose converter. This 63 was built with the best of the best that money could buy. It cost over $135.000 to build and has never been abused and has been driven very little. This 63 can win shows, be driven or raced as is and is the best of the best. No expences spared in this spectacular build. If you have any questions please call Robert @ 770-403-0961 or Danny @ 404-391-1021 This Fairlane is for customer pick up, delivery may be available for a fee please inquire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
