Vehicle Detail

I have for sale my 1957 Ford Fairlane.I purchaced this car from a gentleman that bought it from his boss that had a huge warehouse full of antique automobiles.I dont know exactly how long it was in storage but it has that late 60's early 70's old school look.It has a strong running 352 cu.in.engine with a Holley four barrel.with Headers, true dual exhaust and cherry bomb mufflers that give it that classic hot rod sound that only this set up does so well. You hit the key and this ol baby fires up instantly with no hesitation. No knocks,no pings and no smoke.Just a good strong sounding engine with that great sounding cackle when reved up.It has nice wheels and new tires that still have the tits on them.New Radiator, battery, alternator, tune up and oil change.Shortly after buying this car I bought a 1957 Ford Retractable and am spending all my time on it,so I havent had a chance to get the brakes working the way they should.I bought a new master cylinder for it but haven't had a chance to put it on.The car will stop you,but not good enough to take out in busy traffic,so I would suggest trailering it unless you live close to Madison In.This car's NADA average retail value is $10,800 and I am letting it go for over $3,000 less than that to make a sure sale.Any questions, call Home-812 866-2747 CELL # 812 493-2868. Than you and good luck bidding, Danny. On Oct-13-11 at 19:02:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I was Recently told by a good ol Ford Man that the engine was not a 352.It is either a 302 or a 351.Sorry for any confusion. He also told me,according to the vin numbers the car was built in Kansas. That explains why it survived so well.On Oct-16-11 at 15:20:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I took the Ford out for a Sunday drive today,on the highway for the first time since I've owned it and it did great. It held 55 pounds of oil pressure, ran cool, charging system worked properly and ran smooth and handled fine without any problems. After driving it today,I see no reason why the new owner couldn't be drive it home. I took the trunk mat out today and the trunk floor and the spare tire compartment are solid.I forgot to mention in the ad that the headliner looks good and appears to have been replaced. Danny. On Oct-19-11 at 03:30:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had several people ask how is the body and paint.Last Saturday I posted for every one to see that the car needs some body work and a paint job.At the bottom of the page where questions are asked . Thank you, Danny. On Oct-22-11 at 07:43:02 PDT, seller added the following information: After researching the 1957 Fairlane,I learned this Fairlane is the more rare Club Victoria,(It looks like a rocket).I looked for one on You Tube and found only one in Texax, a four door they were asking $12,000.00 for.I am happy for the interest of 3000 + veiws, and over 100 people watching this auction to the end.Thank You and bid responsibly. Danny.
