PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE DESCRIPTION I WANT TO BE TOTALLY HONEST WITH THE BUYER, I BOUGHT THIS 3 YEARS AGO. ITS A 1997 CHRYSLER SEBRING WITH A CONVERTIBLE TOP. I DROVE IT OFF AND ON FOR 2 YEARS, STORING IT IN THE GARAGE WHEN NOT DRIVING IT, HENCE NO RUST ON OUTTER BODY, WHICH IN MINNESOTA IS HARD TO DO. ONE TIME I HAD IT OUT WHEN IT RAINED AND SEEN NEXT DAY THAT THERE WAS WATER INSIDE THE CAR. SO I HAD MY SON INSTALL A USED FRAME AND COVER FROM ANOTHER SEBRING. WELL IT MUST BE SOMETHING ELSE CAUSE IT WILL STILL GET WATER INSIDE IT. MAYBE THE WEATHER STRIPPING, OR A EDGE NOT TIGHT ON THE CONNECTION TO THE CONVERTIBLE TOP. THEN I NOTICED THAT THE AMP , RADIO AND ELECTRIC FOR THE SEATS IS NO LONGER WORKING FROM THE RAIN IN THE CAR. ALSO THERE ARE SOME RUST SPOTS ON THE FLOOR CARPETING FROM RAIN GETTING INSIDE THERE . LET IT SIT ALL WINTERS ALWAYS WOULD START RIGHT OFF, IN THE SPRING NO MATTER HOW LONG IT SAT. OVER THE WINTER, I HAD IT OUTSIDE FOR MAYBE A MONTH, WHILE WE EMPLIED OUT THE GARAGE. AND THE WEIGHT OF THE SNOW ON TOP OF THE CAR, PUSHED IN THE BACK WINDOW. I STILL HAVE IT , DONT KNOW IF YOU GLUE THEM BACK IN, OR HOW THAT IS DONE, BUT I HAVE IT. CRUSIED AROUND WITH IT THIS SPRING AND NOTICED RUST LEAKING OUT THE FRONT UNDER THE ENGINE. CALLED IN A MECHANIC , HE SAID THAT THE WATER PUMP WAS GOING OUT. OH GREAT, AND HOW MUCH WAS THAT GOING TO BE, $650 DOLLARS TO PULL TOP OF ENGINE AND REPLACE IT. SO I JUST HAD THAT DONE THIS JUNE. WHEN HE WAS DOING THAT, HE NOTICED THAT THE MOTOR MOUNT WAS SHOT, SO HE REPLACED THE ONE SIDE. AND THE THERMOSTAT SINCE YOUR DOING THE WATER PUMP YOU MIGHT AS WELL DO THAT. THEN IT WOULDN'T START BY ITSELF SO WE REPLACED THE BATTERY , CAUSE WE THOUGHT IT WAS DEAD, BUT THAT MUST NOT HAD BEEN IT. CAUSE NOW IT NEEDS A JUMP START TO START THE MOTOR, IT ALWAYS STARTS, BUT AS SOON AS YOU TURN IT OFF, ITS DEAD AGAIN. THE FRONT SEATS ARE ALL TORN UP, SEAT COVERS WORK GOOD FOR THAT. AND BACK SEATS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. I BELIEVE THE SEATS ARE LEATHER. THE MILEAGE GAUGE DOES NOT WORK. WHEN IT IS RUNNING ITS A FUN CAR TO DRIVE AND SOAK IN THE RAYS. BUT NOW ITS SOMEONE ELSE'S TURN TO TO GET THE LAST ITEMS DONE ON IT , IT STILL NEEDS TO HAVE FIXED. SO AS I SAID A WORK IN PROGRESS. HENCE THE LOW PRICE. I PAID 1800 FOR IT AND HAVE INSTALLED 1000 IN PARTS. SOLD AS IS WHERE IS. TABS ARE EXPIRED. BODY IS IN STILL PRETTY GOOD SHAPE. FRONT AND BACK PLASTIC LOWER BODY BUMPERS HAVE SCATCHES ON THEM , BUT NO RUST ON THE OUTTER BODY OF CAR. THIS SHOULD BE TOWED TILL YOU TAKE A FULL ASSESTMENT OF WHAT IT NEEDS DONE.
