1978 BMW R80/7, absolute cream puff. 597 original miles, still has the original tires. Came with a Luftmeister fairing and Krauser bags. Fairing was removed as I thought it ruined the lines of the bike but is still available. Motorcycle had 2 previous owners, one in Denver the other in Flagstaff AZ, both nice dry climates for long term storage and the bike is totally rust free. Lester wheels totally immaculate. New battery, nothing else mechanically has been done to the bike as I want to represent it exactly as found. All fluid levels checked, none added. No leaks what so ever, the motorcycle is drum tight and runs like new. Starts immediately and idles flawlessly. The previous owner started the bike regularly to ensure oil circulation and kep seals intact. Pictures hopefully reflect accurately a classic BMW that thankfully for a future owner gives you the opportunity to own a NEW 33 year old motorcycle. The Krauser bags are flawless and all keys available, tool kit, owners manual and air pump are with the bike. Inside the tank is very clean, no rust. The gas cap I had to drill and install a sheet metal screw to enable me to open the cap as the locking mechanism just rotated without unscrewing the cap from the tank, still serviceable but should be replaced. Again, I have done nothing to the bike as I want to represent it exactly as found, I have 4 other beemers so have no use for this one. Hope to find it an appreciating home, she really is a beauty.
