For being 22 years old, this car is in FANTASTIC condition. NO ACCIDENTS, CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE.This car was recently featured in the car enthusiast site Jalopnik: http://jalopnik.com/5846723/for-5000-they-call-me-mr-2 The original owner owned it until 2010. A drill sergeant friend of mine bought it and kept it for a few months but needed backseats. I bought it, but it's only spending its time in the garage! My girlfriend refuses to get in because of the whole no-airbags thing, and we both work for the Army at the same post so we carpool. Needless to say she is not happy about her car getting all the miles. I've put underneath 1000 miles on it since I've owned it! It begs to be driven! You read the mileage right, 109XXX. The first owner owned multiple sports cars and kept them all in the carport. I have documentation for EVERYTHING, and there are NO mechanical defects. The vehicle was always dealer serviced.DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR BID. Everything on the vehicle is stock, except for the gas struts (tworus) I added to the trunk lid and the engine bay lid, and an Alpine Headunit and kensington front speakers that were added by the original owner. I would rate the interior as 9/10 or better with no cracks or scratches to be seen on the dashboard.Tires are all seasons and have 80 percent tread left on them. The car doesn't burn oil as far as I can tell, and doesnt leak oil either. I drive it once or twice a week and otherwise it stays in the garage.This car does have the factory working toyota alarm system. Very rare for these to still exist!A/C and Heat BOTH WORK! Clutch was done at 50k miles.Timing belt was done at 98k miles in 2009.Brake pads and brake rotors were replaced last month. The pads are porterfield R4-S, which are excellent. This car was NEVER raced. Eccentric guides were put in and the T Tops DO NOT LEAK. --I ground off small rust patches at the mudflaps on the quarter panels. I ground off rust from the front of the qt panels under the side skirts. I replaced the gas door and filled a dent next to it. I replaced (and still have the old ones) the front fenders from a parts car. The old front fenders still have original vin numbers on them. The paint jobs for all these repairs were done with a rattle can, so the car could do with new paint, but everywhere else the paint job is clean and original! The paint I used was color matched from automotivetouchup.com. NO RUST REMAINS. How many mr2s can you find that say that?
