2006 Dodge 4x4 Mega Cab 5.9 Diesel Salvage flood title. This truck is a Previous fresh water damage truck, It ONLY Needs a wiring Harness, both the engine and dash harness, It DOES NOT RUN CURRENTLY. I purchased this truck from an insurance company and completely went through it. When We completed the truck we started it up and it ran for 4 sec, and then died, we did this 3 more times before the trucks security system locked it out because it didn't recognize the smart key. We then found out that we needed to replace the smart key and all the electronics associated with it, which we did. I had a local shop that works on diesels work on the truck and they had me replace all the electronics, but they were having communication problems between the different modules on the truck because of corrosion in the wiring harness. Even though all the electronics are new and programmed from dodge, the wiring harness is not allowing a good 2 Volt signal between the modules on the truck which is what it takes to run. The truck turns over and sometimes fires, and has started before but the wiring harness is bad and honestly just needs to be yanked and a new one installed. The cost for the engine and dash harness is just under $1000 from Mopar. The AC will need charged also when the truck gets running. SO WHY AM I SELLING IT? I ran out of time, and needed a truck really bad so I went out and bought one, and I'm going to loose my ass on this one. The RESERVE is less than I even paid for the truck from the insurance company!!!! I have a ton invested, everything is basically new but I don't have time to mess with it anymore so someone is going to get a hell of a deal. I still have all the old electronics if you want to see them and I will be more than happy to answer any questions which I expect people to ask. Its unbelievable how many scams there are when you are trying to sell something, so call and don't bid if you are not serious about buying the truck!!! Don't waste my time and I won't wast yours. Do not bid or email me if you are out of the country, always seems to be a scam. Payment: PAYMENT must be made in CASH, or if its a Bank Check it will have to clear before I will release the truck, no questions asked!! Its too easy to fake a bank check and I have had people on here try to pull some wierd stuff before. If a out of state buyer wants to have the truck shipped I will help out in any way I can. Drivetrain Details: I had a Jasper engine tech completely rebuild the 5.9 Diesel engine, The engine has 0 Miles on it!!!!! They bored it out .020", and completely went through it, so basically its brand new now. I also pulled the transmission and replaced it with a good one out of another dodge diesel that worked just fine. The transfer case was gone through and so were both the front and rear axels. It has a new fuel pump and the injectors were were flow tested and the whole fuel system was flushed. The Turbo was also gone through and is in good working order. The exhaust is not currently on the truck as when it was removed we damaged the section of pipe between the Converter and the muffler so basically it just needs a 3 foot piece of 4" straight exhaust pipe to put it back in. Electronics Details: I dumped a ton of money in all new electronics, If its electronic its new and all of them are Genuine MOPAR parts!!!!! NONE OF THE ELECTRONIC PARTS ARE FROM USED VEHICLES!!! The only thing I didn't have to replace was the engine computer itself believe it or not! It is a sealed unit and it was tested and works perfect. I replaced the electronic fuse box under the hood, the gauges are new and programmed from Dodge, , Remote key entry, air bag sensors, Key start electronics, new key, electronic gas pedal, 4x4 switch, and climate controls. The power windows work fine and so do the locks. The power rear window also works just fine. The radio works but the speakers will need to be replaced as they do not work. lights and tail lights work also. There are no battery with the truck but I will be more than happy to put a couple in it to show you that everything works. Condition Details: The truck is actually in good condition. The interior was actually pretty clean, but smelled from the water. I had it completely cleaned, and shampooed, and is in good condition, a few stains on the pass front floor under the floor mat. Everything else looks good. There is a dent that the pics show in the pass side rear side of the bed, and a couple of scratches that I showed in the pics. This is a southern truck so its completly rust free and you can tell by how nice and clean the frame is on it. Tires are fair, nothing to brag about but will last awhile. The rear bumper has a dent in it but I have a new one that goes with the truck!
