Posting for a friend: The bike is a 2007 Suzuki GSXR 600. Very nice bike and looks awesome. Bike has 14k miles, never beat on. GSXR is stretched and has new tires. Brakes are good, clutch is tight and shifts firm. Has a Two Brothers pipe and KandN filter. Bike is missing the plastic piece on the left side of the tank ($20 on ebay) and the back seat/cowl lock ($50). Last time the bike was rode, it went about 2 miles and the check engine light popped on and the bike turned off. Don't know why, it has not been inspected and the owner is not a mechanic. Bike fires right up and sounds normal, so there may not even be a problem? Bike also has a rebuilt title. Owner had it inspected before it was bought and everything checked out, frame is straight, no non-factory welds, everything is how it should be. Goes down the road straight as an arrow. The tank was changed and there is a small scratch on the right-side fairing, 6" long and 1/2" wide. Previous owner stated something fell off the shelf in the garage when it was new and insurance company paid for it, but branded the title. Does not affect rideability whatsoever. This is a great bike for a great price. Bike is easily worth $5500 with a small investment. Sold as-is where-is. I have heard guesses ranging from a fuse to a crossed wire to a head gasket to a recall from Suzuki on the lines of the power system. Unfortunately do not have time to do so. This bike is sold as is. Bidders are responsible for looking at the bike prior to auction's end. Once the bid is won, its won and must be paid for. Have no problem showing the bike before auction's end. The best way to look at it is worse case scenario, needing a head gasket. If its less, its all gravy and more profit when you sell it.
