Sunday October 2nd 2011, the sun is shining the birds where chirping here in Beautiful Bryan College Station Texas, what a perfect 68 Degree temperature morning to take my Shelby GT 350 Tribute car for a great Sunday morning ride. Open the garage turn the battery power on for the electric fuel pump, run inside get my sunglasses run back outside to crank my baby up like i have in many other occasions and HOLY %7$*!!!! it scared the pee pee out of me. My darn Mustang tribute Shelby caught on fire as fast as i could turn the ignintion on. I took my fire extinguisher out turned the fire off but as you can see by the pictures there is some paint damage on the right front fender under the hood and on the front bumper. I have NOT tried to re-start the Mustang nor will i try. Today October 2nd 2011 i have taken 24 pictures as well as i could and have made my mind up to kiss my Mustang good bye. This is a no reserve auction and my ex baby will go to the highest bidder. NO MORE CLASSIC MUSCLE CARS FOR ME!!!! New 351 W engine Edelbrock aluminum high flow heads "less than 500 miles" i spent over $6000 on this engine, heads cam's and install less than 500 miles 2. New Reinforced 9" Ford rear end with limited slip 3.25 gears $2000 less that 100 miles 3. Authentic Shelby GT-350 Steering wheel (FIV Italy) $3000 Very rare and and extremely collectable. 4.Glove box was signed by Carrloll Shelby on his 87th birthday on January 11th 2010. " i have documentation of authenticity from Carroll Shelby Foundation" 5. Assembled Engine Data Sheet dated March 2010 when new motor was built, balanced and blueprinted. 6. 4 core radiator with electric fan - Holly 650 Carburator - Competion Cams - Roller Rockers - Fuel Cell - Center Force Cluth - Quick ratio steering - Koni Shocks - Rear Battery Mount 7. Roll Bar - Front and Rear Sway Bars - 4 Wheel Vented Disk Brakes - Hooker Headers with exhaust turn downs and Electric Cutouts for Open exhaust. " way cool but super loud" 8. Plumbed for NOS ( looks only never used) - Fiber Glass rear shelf - new door panels and seats - 4 speed close ratio toploader - Hurst Shifter with reverse lock out 9. PPG paint White / Guardman Blue stripes - Performance Lowering Springs - The Wide Body Flares were custom molded by the previous owner Not flimsy or kit aftermarket , these are 1/2 inch thick finished and are as strong as metal. Much equipment has been added to address the handeling of a mid 60's car. This is a genuine A code GT Mustang Fastback and as far as i know has never been in any accidents. The list goes on and on aside from the money i spent to buy this Mustang years ago i have spent a whole lot of money fixing her up. Left front headlight works great but right side headlight is inop which means we have some minor electrical on the passenger side.
