I bought this 1998 R1100GS in April from Blue Moon Cycle in Norcross, GA for one purpose - a trip thru Yellowstone and the Rockies. It had 26,000 miles on it when I bought it. It has ABS, heated grips, and came with a Corbin seat, Jesse Bags, Aeroflow windshield, PIAA foglights, Throttlemesiter cruise, and Aeroflow headlight shield (not pictured). I put a couple thousand miles on it in the mountains and a 550+ mile day trip to shake out any bugs. Replaced front brake switch, front brakes, main seal, clutch, pivot bearings, right cylinder base gasket. All of this was done by Blue Moon the week of June 25, 2011. All transmission seals were also replaced. They gave it full tuneup and all fluids were changed. A new set of Michelin Anakee2 tires were mounted. I added my Garmin ZUMO 550 GPS, a Garmin XM satellite receiver (12month subscription paid thru May, 2012), a Givi 45 liter top case, Hyperlite rear brake lights, Alaska leather sheepskin seat cover. I rode it approximately 5,500 miles in a 12 day period in July, mostly secondary roads with one 100 mile stretch on interstate. It performed flawlessly in temps ranging from 107 degrees in OKlahoma to 34 degrees around Yellostone, runnning speeds no higher than 90 mph. Upon return all fluids (engine oil, differential fluid, trans fluid) were changed again, the brake system flushed and power bled. In addition to everything else listed it comes with it's original toolkit, a toolkit left over from an R1150R I once had, a tire repair kit, the owner's manual and clear title. The tires are still very good, everything works as it should. It is ready for another 5,000+ mile trip. But, my trip is done and I'm thru with the bike.
