Vehicle Detail
1990 Honda CR 500 Near Mint Very Good Stock OEM Condition CR500 Up for sale is a 1990 Honda CR500 Motocross bike. This bike is basically all-original and has low overall hours for its age. I had bought it to ride as a AHRMA bike. The plastic is 100% OEM Honda , and is in very good clean shape. The number plates are nice and tight. There is one small hairline crack on the muffler side panel, but that is not a big deal wasn’t visible in the photos. Overall, this bike is a solid bike that is in really good shape for its age. Check out my other auction for a matching 1990 CR 125 in good shape as well. The 1990 CR500 was ridden by factory Honda riders Jean Michael Bayle, Jeff Stanton and Ricky Johnson. Johnson who won the 1990 Unadilla 500cc AMA National, and it was Johnson’s last national win. This bike was really cool, it was the only year that Honda had embossed the “CR” Honda logos on the radiator shrouds. The tires, wheels chain and sprockets’ are all in real good shape, all with 75% or more life left in most all of the parts that might wear out. It is a very similar bike to all the other CR500's from that era, including the very cool 1986 and 1987 models. The only thing that is not stock is the Factory Racing ignition and clutch covers, and the FMF pipe and silencer, along with a Banzai Brothers 2-stroke pipe protector. Other than that, she is all stock and in OEM NOS Near Mint shape. There is nothing wrong with this bike, it is real sharp looking. I have the bike advertised locally and reserve the right to end it early if a local buyer comes forward. Sale includes a clear title. Payment: I require that a deposit of $150 be sent via Paypal within 24 hours of the close of the auction. I am open to other arrangements, but please contact me to work out details. Paypal takes a Shipping: Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I don’t normally like to end my auctions on Friday, but I have truck leaving October 8 and it is going across the country via Minnesota and this might be of some assistance, depending on where you are at. Hit me up for more info, and I can put you in touch with the driver. But I can help and assist with the shipping, but the cost is up to you. I will ship International shipment: I can assist in taking bike apart and shipping in separate boxes, but this is at YOUR COST. Please note that ALL shipment costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Please only bid on this item if you are a serious buyer and willing to pay what you bid. I know it sounds silly, but I have dealt with too many idiots on ebay who bid on things and then just bail out, which is just annoying and lame, and wastes everyone’s time. Want to talk on the phone and discuss shipping options? Email me and we can take it from there.
