Hello and welcome to my auction. I have been very busy picking up good quality beetle convertibles and this one here is a 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible with a very strong 1600 dual port motor and a excellent working 4 speed manual. We have done a check of the car and everything seems to work very well and this would be the type of car if your looking for reliable transportation,beach crusier or just a fun second car. I have touched up the paint where it had faded and all in all the paint shines very nice and in the picture you can even see the ground and myself in the background but if your looking for a show car this is not what I'm selling. I have showed pictures of under the wheel wells and shock towers and they are rust free and there is not even any undercoating or patching like you see on most. All the windows are in good shape and the tires are above average with beautiful chrome rims are very nice. There are brand new bumpers on the car that we just installed today and a brand new exhaust , so the car runs and sounds great. I checked the suspension and brakes and all are in good working order. Now with all this said , I restore beetles and unfortunetly I do not have anymore room in my shop or I wouldn't be selling this one plus I have 2 more waiting to be picked up that I haven't even gotten to yet. This would make a nice car for someone and years of fun. The mileage I believe is original as the previous owner told me that this car was rarely ever used . I do not know if the paint color is original. We have been taking turns driving this beetle and another 79 back and forth to the shop and this one starts great and has not given me any trouble. I will be taking it on an 80 mile roundtrip with mountains that have a 7% grade that I will be video taping and sharing it here. If any mechanical issues do arrise I will fix them and let all know when I'm done. I do not foresee any issues but safe then sorry. Also this has a Clear California title in my name and is registered until next year and ready to go. The interior is in okay condition front seat could use some padding but no rips or tears ,door panels are new and it could use some new sunvisors and the stereo is missing. I will try to put some more padding in the seat or I may just put all new interior in the car , please check back for updates or pictures and video.
