Up for auction is a 1980 Cadillac Deville Sedan with the 5.7 diesel engine i have been driving this car back and forth to work and have been getting 30 mpg the engine runs good and the transmission shifts good the engine does use a little oil and that could be because the valve cover gaskets do leak some i just had a brand new power steering pump,pully and spacer and the 2 new power steering belts put on the car and a new 100 amp altenator the car has 2 newer batteries in it it does smoke some on startup but once warmed up it does away there is a couple of things on the car that does not work the cruise control does not work the power seat on the passenger side only goes forward not backward the fuel guage works sometimes the radio works good all of the lights work the horn does not work and the steering wheel is not straight there is 2 rust spots on the car and a couple of small holes in the front passenger seat shown in the pictures i have always ran the stanadyne performance formula in with the diesel fuel which is recommended with the low sulfer diesel fuel also the rear bumper is rusted through under the chrome and the one front plastic filler piece on the front right side is missing, all of the power windows and locks work 71,162 actual miles the ac does work but is not the coldest sold as is. On Sep-29-11 at 21:04:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Update the car does not have a top headliner i drove the car today the left turn signal light does not light up in the dash but the signal does work front and back on the outside the defrost does work but the heater only works in hi not low also i am adding a video of the car running.
