1971 GMC Shortbed Stepside 4X4 Up for sale is my 1971 GMC Stepside Shortbed 4X4. This truck is much more desireable that the Chevy because of the beautiful chrome front end. All it needs is for you to paint it and put it back together. All the expensive stuff is done!!!! I have virtually every part needed to finish. Everything on this truck is either restored to new condition or has been replaced with a brand new part. NO EXPENSE SPARED!!! I have over $13,000.00 in receipts that will go along with the truck. This is a very solid truck!!! This truck has had some small rust areas in the front cab supports and exterior driver floor. These areas should be repaired. It is not bad at all and I will do the work for the right price. There is a new interior driver floorpan installed. All Rocker panels are in excellent condition. There was rust in the driver side cab corner and it has been cut out. I have a new corner. The rest of the truck is rust free and very solid!!!!!! Rear Fenders are new because this truck originally came with side mounted spare tire and I don't like that look. The bed is bolted straight to the frame with no rubber body mounts currently. This is truck has been in the Idaho High Mountain Desert all it's life which explains why there is so little rust. This truck does run and drive!!!! It just needs you to paint it and put it back together. This truck can be had for approx. 1/2 of what has been invested. My Loss, Your Gain!!!! This truck should be worth at least in the lower $30,000 range when finished. If wanted, I can finish the truck however you desire for a negotiated price.
