Vehicle Detail

Mechanically Sound, engine, 4 speed transmission, and rear end rebuilt, less than 2000 miles ago. Engine has solid lifter cam, 750 double pump Holley, electric fuel pump. High rise tunnel ram intake. Engine produces around 440 HP, should run high 12, low 13 second quarter mile. Engine is from a 69 Chevelle. 12 bolt 4:10 posi rear gear. Radiator was rodded and repaired when engine was rebuilt, runs cool no heating problems. Car has been in West Texas its entire life. Original red exterior and interior. Has black bench seat, interior is in good condition, driver door panel has repaired hole from original outside adjustable rear mirror, that is not working but have mirror assembly. Trunk has been fiberglassed from a rust spot that was approximately 10 inches. Floor pans appear to be in good shape, there is minor rust on the interior driver door. Paint needs color sanding, and the passenger door needs repainted. Passenger door and front fender has been replaced. Original Cowl Induction hood, has some repair on front nose. The fender liners are missing. Car came from factor with out AC, or power steering, has power front disc and rear drum brakes that were rebuilt about 2000 miles ago. Pinion seal is leaking from sitting too long between driving. All glass is in good shape, the windshield has some sctatching from wipers. Have wiper assemblies but not on car. Have bad interior rear view mirror but not in car. Needs new headliner, does not hve one but the bow rods are still in place, needs dome light. Bumpers are fair, rear bumper has some pitting, front bumper a little wavy. I have new door hinges for driver side, passenger side is in good shape. I replaces the hardware on the head lights and fender extensions. I have various small parts that I have purchased to replace, just have not got around to it. I replaced the dash, installed after market gages. The dash pad has a cover, do not know what the original pad looks like, cover was on pad when I purchased the car. On Sep-25-11 at 07:22:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I have described the Chevelle to the best of my knowledge, the car was purchased used in 1970 by a friend I worked with, he sold it to another friend that I worked with and he and his dad did the rebuild and color change. The car is far from being perfect as you can tell from the description. The NADA price on this car in its lowest classification is near $20K and my reserve is way lower than that. I do not have the protecto plate but my friends confirm the car being a true SS. With the reserve price that I have set on the car, it will be a good investment and the purchaser should be able to get a good return on their additions, repairs and upgrades.
