1955 GMC Pickup "Big Window" Hi this is my uncles 1955 GMC Half Ton "Big Window" pickup. The paint is yellow with purple accents and the frame and suspension are a satin purple. The truck has NO engine and NO transmission. It did have a 400 stroker and 4 speed Saginaw manual transmission. The engine mounts are set up for a small block gm motor. He does have the drive line for that setup if you would like it. There is also a drive line loop. The front suspension is a Valarie adjustable suspension and the rear is tubed with Ford 9" leaf spring rear end with posi. Wheels are 15" and rear tires are 29x18.50R15 they measure 16" wide. It has 4 wheel disc brakes with master cylinder and booster. Power steering with tilt wheel and billet steering wheel. The bed is Oak with stainless hard wear. Interior has dual power Cadillac seats that are yellow with purple trim. Gauges are stock original. No stereo. He has the front and side windows but is missing the rear window. Also missing is the front passenger turn signal. All the electrical is there. This truck was running and driving. There was a knock in the engine so it was pulled and the truck has been parked inside for about the last 9 years. The paint is on okay condition there are runs, orange peel, and some scratches.
