1979 Ford Fairmont 2dr Boxtop sedan. Factory 5.0L V8 (302), C4 automatic transmission, AC, PS & AM radio. Rust free, clean, low mileage, Bone stock, California Blue Plate Survivor. This RARE V8 light weight Base model Fairmont would make a great sleeper, Street Strip, Cruise Night Hot Rod. 2 sets of wheels & tires included. Stock 14" steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps & Custom black powdercoated Big & little Weld Drag lites. Engine runs good with no smoking or odd noises, transmission operates well & car drives nice. AC has been converted to 134 in it's past but will probally need a recharge. Car has not been used daily since 2004 & stored. Body has had a MAACO type paint job in it's past & is presentable. Fresh paint, the removal of the typical door dings & 1 dent repair (LF fender) would bring this car to the next level. ALL panels, doors, glass, lights, trim, weatherstriping, Aluminum bumpers, etc... are VERY nice. Car has a nice overall Patina & look / feel to it. Interior is in original condition & about what you would expect from an original 32 year old car. Carpet is worn in the drivers area but covered with mats. As you can see from the wheels & tires in some of the photo's the direction i intended to go with the car. A Sleeper hot rod. A 5.0 driveline swap with a FOX body mustang (or supercharged 03 Cobra motor) would be sweet, easy & reasonable. This is a FOX body Ford & FOX body Mustangs parts are a direct bolt in. :) The Aluminum Weld wheels were powdercoated gloss black to mimic the stock 14" steel wheel / Police car look. The Weld Wheels are 15x3 in the front with NEW 165 Radials & the rears are 15x8 with 255/60/15 worn BFG's. There is room for 275 drag radials or 10" slicks using these wheels. A set of Rare, 1978 model year only Clear front turn signals will be included also. They give a nice look to the front end.
