There are zero dings or scratches anywhere on the car. Interior is in fantastic condition, no rips or scratches in the leather. This is a clean title well maintained car with no stories of any kind. All service is up to date, car has a new clutch, all fluids and filters have recently been changed, brakes are in great condition, tires are all brand new. CAR IS RUNNING LIKE NEW WITH NOTHING TO DO FOR A LONG TIME. This was a very expensive OEM Quality Conversion So I guess my goal here was to find an ugly duckling and turn it into a swan. I wanted to find the perfect 911 project car; a well maintained clean title car but that lacked in class and the purity that is Porsche and hopefully bring it back to life. I found the perfect car, a well maintained clean 1999 996 911. It was now time to start the creative process. We knew there was only one person we wanted touching this soon to be masterpiece, that was Tony, the owner of Precision Porsche in California, a Guru in Porsche modifications since 1985. Our job was to design the dream, his job was to create it. I wasn't sure what to go for at first, do we stay as stock looking as possible, do we do something totally outrageous. I fought back and forth for days trying to create the perfect aesthetic balance. I"m a longtime Porsche purists and did not want to drop 50,000$ into a car and have it come out looking mangled. If there is one thing I disliked about the 996 it was the butchering of the front end, namely the headlights, Porsche came back to their senses in 2005 and brought the original round headlight style back, discontinuing the fried eggs that haunted Porsche and its enthusiasts for 6 years. We decided to bring this one back to those roots as well by going with a NEW OEM 997 parts. 997 OEM front fenders, OEM headlights and OEM hood. We also wanted to add some flare to distinguish it from its less aggressive counterparts. We went with the brand new Techart GT Street style front bumper with OEM LED built in blinkers, We decided to extend the rear track 4 inches wider to match a stock 997 911 Turbo. We did a full 997 Turbo rear as well with OEM taillights perfectly fitted to it's new wide body. We had a choice between the GT2 rear bumper and a Turbo rear, we opted for the Turbo rear because we thought it was less busy and had more fluid lines. The rear wing is however an aggressive GT2 rear wing giving it the poise of a race bred track car. Techart style side skirts were used to add fluidity to the sides of the car. A Brushed steel custom quad exhaust was fitted to finish off the back ends look. One of the final and most important decisions was choosing a special color that would make it stand out from the rest without going with an Aftermarket color. My friend Stephen, the owner of Labelle body shop in Montreal had quite a challenge on his hands because of our meticulous perfection for this project. He helped us choose the perfect color combo. We chose the factory GT3 RS Orange color to meld everything together. It was painstakingly long and we went way over budget but it was well worth it for the final product, 8 layers of paint and clear coats using only European factory paint and clear coats. It looks incredible. In the spirit of bringing an iconic sports car back to its roots we wanted to keep the wheels classy and simple but with a new school flare so we went with the 19" lightweight staggered RUF style 5 spoke wheels and had them powder-coated Matt Black with a factory RS Orange lip. No expense was spared in the making of this vehicle and I think that shows in the end. We also spent lots of time and money converting the interior into something attractive that would match the exterior. We recently redid the entire interior of the vehicle to match the GT3RS orange paint on the exterior. We replaced the whole interior from A to Z from the stock light grey interior to the beautiful black and orange interior you see now, we took out the stock seats and installed orange Hard Back racing leather factory Porsche seats. We also just added an Orange and black suede GT3RS style race steering wheel and a mean sounding exhaust system which reduced the weight and gave it some extra horsepower. Also, for around 7,000$ we can bring this car up to 450HP safely with a Full VF Engineering Supercharger Conversion which would give it more performance than the 996 911 Turbo and would give you the rear wheel drive of a GT2 instead of the AWD of the normal Turbo's which I personally don't like for the track.
