With only one previous owner, this automobile is ready for you. the brief history of the black pearl is that of the final original z cars that were produced back in 78, datsun had introduced for the first time a black car with a light amount of pearl fleck. they were produced in minimal numbers and were given a unique stripe kit and were offered with a few other options that were not previously available. these cars were not specifically numbered but each dealership was given exactly one of these cars( high volume dealers may have gotten 2 ) to showcase on the dealership floor!at that time datsun did not realize that these cars would come into moderate demand on the collectors market years later! I personally have owned 4 of them as well as many other z cars.This is a smoke-free automobile. this car is originaly from georgia. it IS a 78 black pearl. the car DOES start run and drive well and the 5 speed trans shifts nice. the parking break does not work and the ac is not that cold. front end is good. body and paint are good but NOT perfect, although this is not a show car it can be one with very little effort. it is a good daily driver for an easy resto. the car appears to have had an older restoration, paint has some tiny chips or scratches, striping is loosening up. car has a dash cover which is also starting to lift but can probably be tucked back in. floors are far better than average, there may have been some light floor work when the car was previously restored. i did detect a few tiny perforations ( and i do mean tiny) on the rear deck and under the battery tray-and they are nominal. as you can see the car has a steel rocker guard and a simulated stripe kit and plexi headlight covers. the tires are strating to dry up-so a new or good used set would probably be a good idea. please review pics as what you see is what you get and the terms of sale will have no returns and no refunds. there are about 100 pictures posted. we have doe our best to represent this car, please keep in mind that because of the age of this car we cannot verify the mileage, 55k is the mileage stated on the title and based on the mechanical condition it is possible..... posted are ONE HUNDRED PICTURES.this is a fixed price sale, so please no trades and no offers.
