1986 P-30 6.2 DIESEL Step Van all Alluminum This P-30 was purchased from Warrick County School Corportation. The P-30 was used as a school district maintence van. At time of purchase the school corp stated the following "This unit has been regularly maintained by our own fleet mechanics. The engine is a Jasper exchange at mileage 271,310 in 2006. So only 50K on engine. The transmission was rebuilt in 2001 at mileage 221,376, so there is approximately 100K on rebuilt transmission." The P-30 runs very well and was driven aprox 300 miles back to our facility and performed per specs. The wipers, lights, marker lights and interior fan all work. The van runs and drives very well. The driver side mirror has a crack in both the upper and lower mirror. The seats are in very good shape as is the overall condition of the vehicle. The alluminum on the van is in very good condition, it does have some minor pitting and eching,however very minor over all. The under carriage is in very good shape and is above average condition. The diesel engine starts right up and runs very well, The exterior doors all open and close well. The P-30 was outfitted for use as a mobil maintence vehicle and features a fabricated work shop with closeable bulkhead door. If the the buyer were to remove the bulkhead and door, the cargo area would be 18 feet plus of useable space. The tires will need replacing in the future , however they do have useable tread left.
