This is my 1971 Buick Skylark GS 455 clone.It has a NEW marshall 1970 455 engine from advance auto parts.It was purchased on 4/08/2010.The motor has under 400 miles on it.It still is under warranty until 4/08/2013 but the warranty does not transfer to the new owner.The quadrajet carberature has been rebuilt.The distributor is a points type that has been converted to electronic ignition.An HEI will not fit under the ram air air cleaner.All of the parts on the motor are as new as the motor(starter,water pump,belts,etc...).The 400 turbo transmission has all new seals,gaskets and fluids.Was checked by a transmssion shop before installing.Works great.It has a 12 bolt posi rear end.Factory Front and Rear sway bars,The frame has the factory heavy duty supports,New fuel tank,New fuel sending unit,New metal fuel lines,New u joints,New 2 1/2 inch aluminized dual exhaust with H pipe and flow masters,new metal brake lines,new rubber brake lines,new brake shoes,new brake pads,new wheel cylinders,new rear coil over shocks,new front shocks,new disc brake spindles,new calipers,new bearings,new seals,new ram air air cleaner foam,New rear bumper.etc....The hood tach is new.All of the guages work.It has a alpine cd player and speakers that works great but the factory am radio is not hoocked up.The car has 15X7 rallye wheels with a 15X7 chrome rallye wheel for a spare.The interior is nice.The seats have been redone within the last year.The bucket seats have new seat tracks from year one.New black carpet.Dash is nice,New back window package tray.Seat belts all work.Door glass and quarter glass have all new seals(window fuzzys).New trunk seal (but still leaks some).Now for the bad 1) the top has a dent on the passenger side under the vynal top.2) the headliner has a torn spot about 1 inch long by the clothes hanger.3)The console emblem has a crack through the emblem.4)The passenger side rear quarter panel has 2 rust holes by the back bumper and the quarter panel has several small dents.The paint job was done by MAACO on 5-15-2002(ford candy apple red).For a show car will need to be repainted.Looks great 5 feet away but has chips that have been touched up and some small dents.There are a couple places on the hood and top of the fender that have some small bubbles.There is some white over spray on the outside paint by the quarter windows.I think that is about it but I may have missed some things good and bad.You should be able to drive this car anywhere.It is basically new but I have not gone on any long trips with it.
