Up for auction is my 1987 Chrysler Conquest TSI. the car is in very good shape for it's age and runs great THE GOOD:overall condition about a 9/10. interior is perfect (no rips or tears in seats). no rust or body repairs noted. turbo and steering gearbox said to be replaced right before i purchased this car (was previously owned by a Captain in the Army). car has been covered and garaged for the last 13 years. this car comes with the factory 3 -piece aluminum louvre set,all 4 factory mudguards,period correct front end bra. car appears to have been repainted prior to my purchase (not a bad job).a/c has been retrofitted and blows cold. I bought this car with 87,000 miles ,it now has 104,418 (I have not driven it much since 1998) THE BAD: The stock cassette player no longer works (stopped working about a year ago). some play in the steering due to a worn center link to idler arm joint. some light dings here and there,about 7-8 in all (easy fix for paintless dent repair). one rim lip is dinged(easy fix-rim is not bent or out of round).the front 87 style airdam is broken on both corners, common for these cars and can be repaired - I am also throwing in a 88- 89 style airdam in better shape) THE UGLY: Are you kidding me? there is no ugly also the car has polished stock wheels, comes with a heavy duty car cover, 2 set factory service manuals I have done all of the following repairs since buying this car ( I am an ASE certified Toyota tech with over 15 years experience) radiator has been cored/cleaned ( may need it again soon as the radiator is leaking the tiniest amount at the seam) radiator hoses/coolant primary cooling fan a/c condenser-receiver drier belts full tune up (plugs wires cap/rotor air fuel filters) valve cover gasket- rear cam plug oil pan gasket rear main seal and seal carrier balance shaft inspection plate gasket both horn assemblies centerforce stage2 clutch (not even break-in miles on it yet) all fluids with royal purple and redline synthetics walbro 255lph fuel pump new vacuum advance new brakes all around new antenna mast tinted windows injector clips rebuilt throttle body with all new gaskets and o-rings new battery and holddown bracket oxygen sensor brake master cylinder all parts were replaced with new ones ???????? I'm sure I am forgetting something I have not done many mods to the car, so if you are looking for a great starting point , this is the car for you MODS: air filter housing opened up to expose filter (have stock housing also) 88 ecu (have perfect 87 ecu also) 88 knock box (have perfect 87 knock box) 1g MAS (have stock airflow sensor also) upgraded 88 steering wheel (also have stock 87 wheel) the car can be driven away (though honestly I have not driven it further than 50 miles away and back) I do not see any issues with driving it. please feel free to ask any questions and bid with confidence . thank you I will not in any way be parting this car out or selling items seperately from the car,thanks
