The Legendary Subaru WRX "STI" These are very rare and sought after cars. As you can see from the pictures it is a modified car. The car does need some work to pass inspection. The two main items are a new turbo. I was told the exsisting turbo is a 16G. It also needs a new clutch. The car does still drive but it is slipping slightly. I do not know a whole lot about this car because it was indeed a trade. I took a lot of pictures so you can see for yourself what this vehicle is all about. For those of you whom are in Maryland you will be required to pay for Maryland State Inspection, as well as tax, title, registration, and $200.00 document fee. Bel Air Nissan, Hyundai, Subaru has been serving Maryland since 1917. Mr. Vernon Jones started out selling Studebakers in Conowingo, Maryland with his father, C.M. Jones, and soon decided to purchase the family business with his wife Catherine, in 1950.
From then on, the dealership began to expand with the acquisition of Plymouth, Nissan, and Honda Motorcycles in 1963, and then again with the addition of Chrysler, Toyota, and GMC franchises in 1966. Due to the increased business, the Jones family outgrew their facilities on North Bond Street and 305 Baltimore Pike, landing them at our current location on Belair Road.
Since then, Jones has replaced their GMC franchise with Dodge and Jeep, and has added new facilities. Bel Air Nissan/Subaru and Hyundai dealerships, currently employing over 400 people. Mr. Jones is now semi-retired, but serves as Chairman of the Board and dedicates much of his time to the community.
