MAKE: MGB YEAR: 1973 Production Date: 5/1973 VIN #: GHN5UD318543 G Miles: 29,700 Description: This little MGB is in fair condition and is not in any way a show car. It has seen its better days but this car Runs good and drives good. I used the car this summer and only experienced some minor issues which are described in the bad Section below. THE GOOD: - Last year for the chrome bumpers on these models - Runs Good - Drives Good - New Brakes installed Recently - New Starter Motor - Oil change and filter replaced in June of 2011 - Starts every time - Clutch is Very Good and grips very well - Wiper blades work - New Spark Plugs replaced in June of 2011 - Solid Body for Restoration or just a fresh coat of paint - Passenger Seat is in good condition - Currently stored inside a climate controlled garage - Comes with 2 spare rims - Windows and headlights have no cracks or chips in them THE BAD - Rear Tires will need to be replaced soon, (When I drove the car this summer I had to put air into the rear tires every 5-7 days. ) - It seems to have some sort of an electrical issue with the lights and instrument cluster (There are times were the lights will not turn on or the instrument cluster would not work… could be an easy fix for someone that knows how to work with electrical wiring.) - The Paint is faded on the hood and the trunk - There is some minor surface rust in some areas - Driver’s seat is worn and has a large tear in it. - The top has a hole/tear in the small left window - The seals around the front window are worn and split in some spots Please do not hesitate to call me or email me.
