Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1962 Rambler Classic. I bought this car from a movie studio rental company in San Fernando, California in 2008. The car has new tires, shocks so now it runs and handles great. I thought I would be keeping this car so I bought all NOS chrome for the items that needed replaced. The NOS parts on this car include grille, headlight rings, turn signal housings, rear bumper, door handles rear bumper guards, taillight housings, and most of the "R-A-M-B-L-E-R" letters in the grille, and all of them on the trunk. Even the gas cap is NOS. The front bumper and bumper guards are original, but were rechromed. I then removed all of the stainless, and the 46 year old beige paint, which was replaced with a 2008 Dodge color: Inferno Red. This is a pearl basecoat/clearcoat. Redid the interior with white and red vinyl and some black accents. Since I was spending money, I decided to put on a dual exhaust system. Yes, a dual exhaust on a 195 6 cylinder. You have never heard a 195 6 cylinder sound so good. I have over $7000 into this car. I would keep this car except I found a 1964 Ford Galaxie Convertible that needs as much attention as this one did and I need the money to fix it. This is a really nice Rambler, but is not perfect by any means. After all, it is 49 years old. The radio works when it feels like it, the clock doesn't work at all (I have seen some NOS available on Ebay). Could use an ignition switch, but has a push button that allows it to work. It doesn't appear to use any oil. Sometimes the push button transmission buttons stick a little, but this has no effect on it's function. If you have any questions, feel free to call 515-758-2749 days, and 515-758-3952 Eves. The car is sold "As is.", and a $500 Non-Refundable deposit due within 72 hours of the auction end. Balance due within 7 days. I will help with the loading of the car, but the cost and arrangement of shipping is the buyer's responsibility. No warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. ****THIS CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY, SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!****************************
