Thanks for looking and for reading this. If you are looking for a near-brand spanking new and absolutely mint, collectable water cooled 1985 or 1986 Honda ATC 250r 3 wheeler, this is your bike. This bike is as close to brand new as you can get. I have owned many ATC’s, over the years and this bike is the pride of my collection. I hate to see it go, but I need the money. This is the cleanest nicest 250r I have ever seen. There is NO rust, corrosion or fading anywhere on the bike. The seat and plastic still shine and feel exactly as it did when new, as does all the switches, etc. I am selling it, along with some of my other bikes as I need the cash. The only other stock 250r that is nicer than this bike is that guy who was selling the crated bike a year or so back. This bike is that nice. The pictures I have do not do it justice for how close to brand new it is. Please note: I did not use any of the shiny stuff in the pictures. The bike was dusted off using an air gun after i bought it, and thats it. There is no glossy or shiny crap used to make it look better than it is. I left the California Green sticker on the bike, as I think it looks cool. It expired in 1992. Provenance: I bought this from the son of original owner who lived here in Northern California. The guy’s father had bought it brand new from a Honda dealer in Oakland and rode it exactly three times in the desert. He got scared of the bike, put it away in 1990, forbid his kids to ride and that was it. It has maybe 10-12 hours of riding time on it, max, and likely less. The guy passed away in 2006 and I bought it from his son. The motor has never been apart. Bike starts first kick, just like a good Honda. The bike was stored in a room inside the mans house and located off his garage, and was kept under a cover for its entire life. In the winter time, the room it was kept in was heated. The previous owner was a hot rod guy, so he kept everything in impeccable condition. NOTES: · Sale includes a clean California title for the bike as well as the stock 1985 OEM Honda tool kit. · The bike is 100% OEM stock. The previous owner bought it as new. The motor and Carb have never ever been taken apart and are 100% stock, as it came from the factory. The motor has never been apart before. Everything is 100% stone stock. · Everything works perfect (Headlight and tail light, all switches). There is NO wear on the frame from boots or shoes. There is NO wear on the motor either. · The bike includes the Ohtsu / Dunlop stock tires, which are in near new condition, I would say 90% life or better. Fenders have very light scratches, but nothing major, and certainly no cracks or heavy pits. The fenders still shine like they did when they were new. All the bolts and fasteners on this bike still look as new as well, which is rare. · Bike includes all original handlebars, grips, switches, shrouds and other items. All handlebars and levers are straight as well, no bends and show no signs of ever being touched or crashed on. The rear grab bar is perfect, it has never been used or scratched and does not show any signs of use. The on off switch is perfect, not faded. Overall, I rate the condition of this bike a 9.8 out 10. I have never seen a 250R that is this clean and perfect. This bike is really a rare find in this original unmolested condition. I am available to talk via telephone if you have any questions, just email me for more info. PLEASE NOTE: I AM OFFERING THE BIKE FOR SALE LOCALLY AS WELL, SO DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS BUYER. Shipping: Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I can assist and can provide suggestions on contact numbers for a few shippers that I have used in the past, and with success. Depending on where you are located in the domestic USA, figure a couple hundred bucks for shipping. I know people who can, depending on your location, ship bikes all over the USA and world. I have one contact who makes regular trips from California to Minnesota and other points east, and has shipped multiple bikes for me. I can provide you with those contacts and you can get a proper price quote. I have also had very good luck with daily direct bike hauling, they are the best in the business and I have used them to ship a few bikes for myself with no issues to speak of. Check out my other listings as well, as I am also selling a Tri Z, a MINT 250r, and a mint 86 350x. If you are an international buyer, I can also suggest certain shippers as well. Please let me know where you want the bike shipped to. PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT PROVIDE shipping costs, but can give you the info to get that arranged for yourself.
