WELCOME to North American Muscle Cars on-line store! We are trading assistants and one of our dedicated customers brought us her mothers car to sell on eBay! We have this 1965 Mustang 289 2bbl Convertible, red on red, white top, auto transmission with center console. ARA Air conditioning. This car spent most of it's life in Hermosa Beach California - this was our customers mothers car and she took very good care of it over the past decades. We have receipts that total up to more than $30,000 in maintenance and restoration. Engine complete overhaul in 1981 at 105,000 miles. Transmission overhaul at 109,000 miles. Has had Kelsey Hayes four piston disc brakes added. The interior, top, carpet, upholstery was replaced one time previously and is now showing age, again... Such is the life of a convertible! Car has been repainted red in 2008 (basic fair quality) and we are showing you a photo that you can see bubbles mainly seen in the deck lid from contamination? Car is very solid original nice driver if you are looking for something worthy to restore again or simply enjoy as is. Will need a new top and top serviced when replaced... This car drives very nice. Tires are average, brakes work good for manual. We believe engine and trans to be original - we put this on the lift to check out underneath and have included photos of the undercarriage as well. We believe this to be a mostly rust free California car - we only see one rust hole by gas tank on trunk floor - Missing spare and original jack and tank cover. Has aftermarket emergency sizzor jack.
