Barn find ! Rare find ! 1973 Ford Mustang Mach One fastback. This is a REAL COBRA JET Q code. Believed to be complete numbers matching from oil pan to carb... Still has Original Motorcraft 4 barrel carb, still has the 4 barrel high performance heads. Has been sitting the better parts of 20 years. Fairly rust free mustang. Floors need very little. Frame rails, torque boxes very good condition. Trunk floor also nice. Was a running driving car when parked. I would not hesitate to say the engine and transmission are good needing oils changed, plugs , wires and so on..,This is a true rare find !. An excellent project mustang. Engine is not locked up. Engine is believed good. Original color of the Cobra jet is All glass is original Carlite. Windows roll up and down nicely. Interior rear fiberglass is very nice. Panels are uncut, trapdoor is also uncut.. Electrical system has been tested and is in good working order. Also a very nice selling point. If you are in the market for a Cobra Jet project I could not imagine finding a better one then this. 500.00 deposit following auction please. This vehicle DOES NOT RUN. Oil has been changed along with new oil filter, New points, new coil. No knocks, no pings, Tachometer works. Carb will need rebuilt . I think most anyone would agree the mustang is in exceptional condition underneath needing a patch at drivers side front. A complete floor pan is NOT needed a patch only will suffice. Very nice metal on floor supports, frame rails, shock towers, trunk floors.
