1963 Corvair 95 Panel Van Your bidding on a very solid, California born Corvair 95 Panel van with 63K on the odometer. It has an 80Hp engine with automatic transmission. It has new tires, brakes, shocks,exhaust, rebuilt carbs,gas tank and sender, plugs, wires, distributor and all fluids changed. It runs and handles very well. It has been my daily driver for the past 6 months and is reliable little van. The body is extremely solid. There are ripples and bumps along with surface rust but NO rust through. The cavernous interior still carries the original paint but also has some surface rust but again NO rust through. The original "bucket" seats need recovering but flip forward for easy access. I've changed the oil every 2K miles along with the filter. The trans was flushed and the pan dropped to clean out the filter. A new govenor was installed and it shifts and performs as it should, perfectly. Also the rear wheel bearing where opened up and re-greased with new "U" joints when re-assembled. It has EXCELLENT heat with no odor and although it is open keeps the passenger area nice and warm with good defrosting. As mentioned it is a daily driver and handles local traffic with ease. I have used it on the parkway and it cruises along at 65-70 with no problems (no shakes or shimmies).
