This is are seldom seem Special Edition 944 from 1988, especially is as good condition as this. 1 of only 250 in black sold in the US. (check out http://porsche944celebrationedition.weebly.com/ for info on the Special Edition.) The most noticeable difference between the special editions and a regular 944 is the plaid interior. This is a head-turner and is very fun to drive, amazing car for the price (and it's a Porsche!) All highway miles. Car still has the original clutch. Included in the auction is a brand new clutch as well as brand new front struts. Brushed aluminum Porsche turbo rims and Potenza tires. Customization: Some subtle yet sharp updates to the car have been made. Custom shifter and Porsche racing wheel (original steering wheel included), custom Fiberwerks front grill as well as rear bumper cover and stone guards. Aftermarket exhaust and window tinting as well. Equipped w/ an aftermarket CD player and security system (which is not currently in use.) Mechanically the car runs perfectly, the body needs nothing done to it either. Otherwise, the car needs a couple small plastic clips to hold the sun visors, the plastic around the steering column in chipped, and the A/C only runs on blower settings 1 and 4 (and is very cold!) There is a tiny chip in the windshield. Everything else is in really great shape, amazing for its age. I am more than happy to have the car inspected at buyer's expense. Car is better in person.
