This 1968 Chevelle has been restored over the last two years. It has a small block 406. 400 bored .030 over. It has had the crank turned and the rods resized. The pistons are Speedpro Aluminum dishtop with Hasting cast iron rings. Bearings are Levite/ Fed mogul/ Durabond. Timing chain is a Liberty Double Roller . Camshaft is a Comp Cam 292 H Hydraulic 244 duration @ .050 valve lift is .501/110 lope. Lifters are sealed power flat tappet. Heads are vortex cast iron 64cc fast burn combustion chambers 170 intake port volume. Screw in studs and guide plates Z-28 valve springs 1.5 roller rockers. Performance Products air gap intake Holly 750 double pump. New brakes, lines , master cylinder new radiator, hoses pump all new and all right. This motor is not for your teenager it is a very fast car. Desktop Dyno = 420+ horsepower @ 5000 RPM and 525 ft lbs of torque @ 3500 RPM. Transmission is a rebuilt turbo 400 with new shaft and u joints. Interior is mostly from PUI and includes new door panels front and rear, new seat covers front and rear, new carpet, new hardliner. Shifter is a B&M gateway floor shift. Paint is correct color of grotto blue. It has a new black vinyl top. Car has all trim inside and out. This car is extremely tight and handles excellent.
