5 CHRYSLER IMPERIAL CROWN COUPE "VERY RARE BARN FIND" Up for Auction is this TRUE barn find!!! It is a 1965 Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe that is about as RARE as they come. You might have seen a few four doors in your time but how many 2 DOORS have you seen? Not even the Green Hornet was cool enough to have a 2 door. These cars were the definition of luxury in the 60's and were made famous buy BRUCE LEE in the show Green Hornet. I purchased the car from the previous owner with the intent of totally restoring it and having myself a beautiful RARE car. But I already have a few other classics I must finish first that were already started. So my loss is your gain. I did some research and there are less than five of this specific model for sale in the WORLD! This is a barn find so its not a showroom vehicle. It needs some restoration and luckily for you the body work has been done and the car is close to being ready for paint. This car is a project but it runs and drives STRONG. Fully restored this car could bring some BIG BUCKS$$$$ as rare as it is. We believe that this Imperial is 100% ORIGINAL but are not sure. It is still the original color and has the #'s matching 413 motor. This is the BIG DADDY motor of the time being the predecessor to the HEMI. The 360hp motor still has plenty of power too. It sounds like a beast at an idle and will roast the tires off the start. Thats not easy in this big of a car weighing almost 2 1/2 tons. It also has the original vinyl top that was an option that year. This was a factory a/c car and has power everything on the interior. I have never seen so many switches in a classic car. All the glass is there including the factory glass that covers the head lights. All the stainless is there and is in pretty good condition. The interior could use restoration and was already started. The buyer has the option of paying for the interior restoration or can take care of it themself. This could be a beautiful car and whoever wins it will be very lucky.
