1972 Ford Maverick Grabber. Bright red with black graphics. Solid, original car. Most of the car's original paint is still there. Runs and drives great. Very peppy and fun to drive. 302 2 barrel auto. Power steering. Original Philco a/m radio still works great. Dual exhaust. Interior is in very good original condition. Needs paint. Some minor rust. New brakes, alternator, radiator and shocks. Everything works. Transmission shifts great from first to second, but slips shifting to third. Great price on a fun little classic. Drive as-is or restore. These cars are hard to find in this condition. The good stuff:100% drive-able car. starts every time. fly in, drive homesolid car. very minor rust. Floors, frame rails, aprons, torque boxes, etc are all solid.90% original paint. What you see is what you get. No surprises are hiding beneath extra paint layers.Very good interiorVery powerful engine. No smoke or major leaks. Runs cool.New shocks, brakes, alternator, radiator. Drives, rides and stops well. The not-so-good stuff:Minor rust issues - pictured - inside front lip of hood, inside trunk at rear near bumper support, lower passenger door. All rust issues are very fixable.Transmission slips shifting into 3rd.Tires aren't greatExhaust is on there and sounds ok, but it hangs low, and drags sometimes. Not the ideal setup.Front fenders have been repainted. Some spot-painting has been done that's not great. The car's 40 year-old paint obviously shows age. Overall, this is a solid, fun little classic. Great starter classic or low-buck muscle car substitute. This is a drive-able project that is sure to turn heads and offer a ton of fun.
