2000 Camaro B4C code Z/28 ex-police car. Retired from Charleston, SC police department. 1 of 42 B4C Camaros made in 2000. The roof and doors were painted white by the police department. Grey interior with some police mounts and small equipment left. Exterior: Light scratches and chips all over vehicle from fleet use. The doors have outline marks from where the decals were stuck and need repainted. The roof has two holes in it, both pluged. It also needs repainted. No major dents or rust anywhere. Interior: Good condition with carpet floor staining and various holes drilled in the plastic dash peices. Driver's seat is not ripped but has a hard cushion. Windows were tinted by the police station and need redone.Overall it is in good condition. The keys included are from the police station with the car number, 235, stamped in them. Car has original radio and has NO MISSING INTERIOR PIECES! Mechanical: The car is a daily driver and is in good shape. It was used by the police so it does have wear on it-it is not perfect. Serviced by the city in SC and locally get serviced by myself or the Chevy dealer. The car has had a lot of new parts but does still need some things. It needs tires, Check engine light is on from a O2 code, water pump works fine but is noisey, thermostat seaps, rearend and trans could use a flush. I image that the trans would need rebuilt eventually due to the abuse of fleet driving. Heat and A/C both work great as does all electric and lights. Oil leaks about a quarter size from a leaky dipstick tube (told that from the Chevy dealer). Police package this car has includes trans, powersteering , and cooling upgrades. As well as some different trans settings, 3 inch exhaust and heavier suspension. Extras: Car has lots of documentation from police use including build sheet, patrolman gas use only credit card, and other paper work. The car has a Cobra 40 channel CB installed with 24" antenna, Galls emergency siren and control box (control box is taken out per Ebay rules but is included with car), Dash mount twin red strobes (not hooked up but plusg in via cig. lighter), older working radar unit (I'm not sure how acurate it is but it does work), SLP FLOpak ram air intake system (original parts included), Flowmaster 40 series muffler, 3 inch manual exhaust cutout, bright specialty headlight bulbs, and slotted brake rotors. ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS I HAVE RECEIVED: *CAR HAS NOT BEEN RACED AS FAR AS I KNOW. I HAVE NEVER TAKEN IT DOWN THE STRIP OR AUTOCROSS. *CUTOUT WAS INSTALLED TWO WEEKS AGO FOR SOUND PURPOSES AND CAR DOES STILL HAVE BOTH FACTORY CAT CONVERTERS *TRANSMISSION SHIFTS FINE AND CN DRIVE IT ANYWHERE.
