I AM RE-LISTING DUE TO A NON PAYING BIDDERBIDDER NEVER SHOWED OR PAID. PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU INTEND ON PURCHASING. I purchased this car as a package deal. It is not anything I am remotely interested in. It was purchased at a pre-estate sale with two other cars. I am the second owner of the car but I never titled it. I do have the title in hand. The car shows around 83000 miles but I do not know what the mileage truly is. The car is very solid from top to bottom (good southern car). It comes with the original radio/eight track (radio worked but I don’t know about the eight track) but has a pioneer CD player and new speakers. AC compressor comes on and blows cool then cycles off (probably needs Freon). The wabbit needs someone to love it but it ain’t me. The good: starts easy, runs good, shifts through all gears with ease, tires have good tread (old though) fresh paint (showing son how to do it), interior good except drivers’ seat (small butt rub at entry point), new windshield & gasket (old one was cracked). It comes with a 45 record explaining the details of your new rabbit. Original owners manual included. It has hazard lights (I was told that was optional). Windows roll up & down easily with good gaskets everywhere. I was told the car was started monthly but not driven for the last ten or so years. The man that owned it passed away around two years ago and I ended up with it this year. The bad: needs a dash, brakes are tired (they hold pressure), drivers’ seat needs upholstery along vertical riser, I broke the exhaust hangers and have not fixed them (held up with a coat hanger), needs rear hatch shock. The car needs a couple hundred bucks in repairs to be top notch condition assuming you do the work your self. If you have some one else do the final touches probably four to five hundred. The question that was asked last listing was can I drive it home. That would be your call. it does start and run really well but the car has been basically sitting for a number of years. I will deliver it within 100 miles of Huntsville (FREE), payment in full must be made before delivery. There is no rust or evidence of accidents. With very little TLC this will be an excellent driver. I have ran a maximum of a half a tank of fuel through it around the neighborhood. I did not title or insure the car since I was not going to keep it. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will help load. Car can be picked up locally. A $500.00 dollar deposit is required within 48 hours after auction is complete. THIS IS AN AS IS SALE.
