Vehicle Detail
Tired of going to see a car only to find it not as described? I just bought another truck and feel your pain (multiple vehicles not as described when I arrived for a test drive), and promise this SUV will show as described in this ad... and it will show very nicely. Pathfinder was just fully detailed... please see the pictures. All 3 rows of seats steam cleaned. All carpets shampooed. All interior surfaces meticulously wiped down... you will not find one speck of dirt in the interior. More detailed pictures are available on flickr @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/64783640@N02/sets/72157627461176995/show/. Read a very favorable review of the 06 Pathfinder here: http://www.edmunds.com/nissan/pathfinder/2006/ Located in Millersville, MD. Please ask if you'd like to come see and/or drive it, or feel free to ask me questions. Please ask for Josh from 8:00AM to 9:00PM at 443-854-3049. A few notes: Drivetrain: 4.0L V6 produces more horesepower (270hp) and torque (291lb/ft) than the V6 versions of the Toyota 4runner (236HP/266lb torque) or Ford Explorer (210hp/254lb torque) from the same year. Vehicle has selectable 2WD, 4H, and 4L. I've never wanted more power than it had, including a couple times towing a 22 foot boat (Pathfinder has 6,000lb tow rating). Has locking rear differential. Comfort: Air blows ice cold... separate driver/passenger/rear controls. When I entered the VIN on ebay it insists the car has a sunroof, but it does not. Has 6 CD-changer + AM/FM Stereo. Speakers are not blown (I'm a NPR radio listener). 7-passenger (2 front, 3 middle, 2 rear seats) with all seats in great condition. Steering wheel controls for audio and cruise control. Safety: In addition to standard safety features like driver and passenger airbags, we paid for front and rear side curtain airbags when we bought this SUV ($700 upgrade). Also has VDC (vehicle dynamic control) which basically measures speed, direction, yaw, and steering input to judge if your car is going the direction you want it to go and applies braking pressure to individual wheels or cuts engine power to avoid loss of conrol. This can be turned off if you take the car offroad or otherwise don't want the car to try to compensate for wheel slip. Also has an overdrive mode if you want to tow with it. The Pathfinder has a full size spare. Condition: This Pathfinder is 100% mechanically sound and has never been in an accident or needed any major repairs. All scheduled maintenance has been done. The SUV does have the following minor cosmetic issues - a few gelcoat scuffs from road debris normal for a car this age, and some cargo area scratches (the plastic used in here is not very scratch resistant at all). That's it. Tires are so new not all the blue protectant over the white lettering has worn off (see pictures with penny in tread depth). The car was just professionally detailed (immaculate interior condition now) and has never been smoked in. I promise you won't get here and find out I was hiding something about this car (seems some sellers think you won't notice when you see the car in person????). Why I'm selling: I love this SUV. My wife named it "Brutus" and especially after the detail it got this morning I hate to see it go. It has given me zero problems, and I think it's one of the better looking SUVs out there. But I just upgraded from a canoe to a 24 foot boat and needed a better tow vehicle (the Pathfinder has a 6,000 pound tow rating), so I bought a 2500-series truck. That's the only reason this car is for sale. Price: A dealer has offered me $12,500 for this truck wholesale (not trade). Who knows how many thousands above that they'd try to sell it to you for, but I'd gladly cut the middle man by sell it to you directly (I get more and you pay less). Bidding starts at $12,500 and there is no reserve after that. A few comps on ebay now show another 06 Pathfinder SE 4x4 from a dealer 20 miles from me with only 5,700 less miles (57,800 vs. 63,500) listed on ebay for $16,500... $4000 more than my starting bid. There's another 06 Pathfinder SE 4x4 100 miles away with 62,500 miles (only 1,000 less than mine) also listed for $16,500. Or you could buy the one with 2x as many miles (124,000) and only save $1,000 from my starting bid. I won't link to them but go ahead and search 06 Pathfinders... there are only 9 on ebay at the time I'm listing. I'm confident I have the best deal up there and I'm a motivated seller (I need this Pathfinder gone... I already bought a 2500 Suburban to replace it). Conditions: Cash buyers only or have financing already approved before bidding. If you bid you are entering into a contract. DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SECURED FINANCING OR DON'T HAVE CASH!!! Payment via cash or cashiers check. I have the title and there is no lein. You are welcome to come see the car, go for a test drive, or even have it inspected at your expense. But if you have the winning bid, you agree to buy the car "as is" and there is no warranty expressed or implied. I know it's not worth much on ebay, but I give my word the car is as described and I have no knowledge of any mechanical issues or defects. Call me and talk to me and you'll hear that I'm not a scammer. I'll do whatever I can to reasonably accomodate your purchase. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
