1978 Suzuki RM

1978 1/2 Suzuki RM250 C2, first model RM250 with the plastic tank, floating rear brake, conical front hub... and other features. Every thing has been power coated, polished, plated, painted, pampered, on this bike. The motor is on it's 1st over (0.25) and felt very nice, so I just did rings and a hone. Bottom end has brand new crank bearings, crank seals, and all other gaskets and seal were replaced too. Rod bearing feels nice and tight. Forks were gone through and new seals, rear shocks still have good dampening. Runs very well and transmission shifts smoothly. I have 3 of these C2s so I really need to make room for the 76 RM100 and 75 RM125 to have their turn in the garage. This bike started out as a "to be" race bike but turned out too nice....It's almost perfect... to make it a "True" museum bike I would source a perfect exhaust (few dings/dents) NOS Tank (little fade, but very nice) and the orginal "slotted" rear sprocket. All are simple bolt on items, but I like to be as honest as possible. I will try to take video early next week, and if more photos or info is desired please ask.
