1958 MGA Rat rod, Mod,Vintage racer, or Restoration Project I am selling a 1958 MGA coupe that was modified with a Mazda RX7 engine and transmission. This coupe also has a Ford rear end and custom fit driveshaft. This car could be a fun rat rod candidate, or could be put back together as an original MGA Coupe. It currently does not run, and has been partially disassembled. It was a running and drivable car prior to that. Engine turns freely. The frame has been altered to accept the Mazda engine. This is not a complete car, but parts are redly available through a number of suppliers. The following is a list of parts that are included with the car. Nice glass for the car, both windshield and rear three panel glass has like new weather stripping. Bent panels as you know are hard to get for these. Doors, trunk lid, and seats Roadster dash. Fuel tank. Seats and door panels. Good condition good year eagle tires Original usable front wire harness. Fenders and hood are in need of repair. They are from another coupe and have been stripped. Lower sections of front fenders, doglegs and upper edge work is needed on the rear fenders I am using the originals for my roadster project. Pedal assembly is off the car, and will need a new master cylinder Rear tail, head and park lights come with the car. There is no radiator, heater, wiper motor,or bumpers. All in all this is a build-able Coupe. The tub is solid all be it slightly altered. It had the heater box shelf altered for the Mazda engine, but would not bee a difficult reversal. Same with the radiator support. Part of one wheel well, and two holes for speakers were cut. I have a front frame section with the correct motor mounts that can be cut off and installed on the current frame.
