This is a 78 Mustang II ready to be restored. It is not in bad shape at all considering the age. If I cannot sell it here, I will be restoring it myself so i am just going to give it one shot here on eBay. I will try to get more photos up in the next couple of days. Exterior There are some spots where the paint is bubbling and a few spots where you can see rust. There are not a ton of them and they are about the size of a half dollar or quarter. There is a rust hole in the bottom rear corner of the passenger's side door. The paint has various scratches - it will need to be repainted anyway. The only significant dent is on the drivers side door and it is a long, narrow dent like someone drove up against something. There are two cracks in the body on the front end above the grille. Looks like they could be welded. Bumper is not straight, would probably need to be replaced. No cracks in any of the windows that I can think of, I will have to double check that. Overall, the body is mostly usable, I would probably replace both doors, but you could also fix them both with bondo if you are on a budget. Interior Floor pans are solid Carpeting will need to be replaced Seats will need covers or be reupholstered Dash is not too bad, but a dash cover wouldn't hurt Door interiors are intact and salvageable I put the key in the ignition yesterday and was unable to get it out. I didn't try very hard because I didn't have time, but if I am unable to get it out myself it may come that way. Under the Hood As of right now it does not run because it has a broken clutch cable. I have a new cable but have not had a chance to install it, so it will come with the car. It was push started 2 months ago and ran fine. No knocks or odd noises. It has the 2.3 N/A 4 cylinder engine. I am almost certain it is the stock motor. Transmission shifts freely. The title says that the odometer is incorrect, so I am assuming that is true. It has the 4 speed manual transmission. The title is clear, I am waiting on the state to send me a new title so that might take a couple of weeks, but there are no leins or anything like that. The car is located in zip code 40144. I require 300 down within 48 hours and the balance due within 5 days. Please do not bid if you do not have the money to pay for it. The car will need to be picked up within a week of the end of the auction. I prefer that you pay via paypal, but will take cash on pickup for the balance. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge but it is being sold "as is" of course.
