Vehicle Detail
1986 Chevy C10: 73,000 Original Miles! Newly Converted R134A COLD A/C!!! Bought new at Vic Jenkins in Gallatin, Tennesse and has been local ever since! A true SURVIVOR!!! Original owner only used truck for camping trips and kept a topper on it the entire time he owned it! The factory bed rails and tailgate were kept in a garage from the time it was purchased new until last year!!! Always parked under shelter! This truck has ALL ORIGINAL PAPER WORK AND SERVICE RECORDS, including dealer order sheet and even the original full color brochure! The original owner had it undercoated twice, and the undercarriage is almost completely black! This truck has NEVER HAULED ANYTHING and the BED is near MINT!!! NO RUST ANY WHERE ON BODY!!! Dual fuel tanks, 5.0 liter engine! Interior is in excellent condition. Cloth bench seat looks almost NEW! The bench seat is currently being protected by a high quality saddle blanket seat cover which was custom made in Texas. There is one small tear on the driver's side, but other than that, it looks new. Original AM/FM radio! One thin crack on the dashboard in front of steering wheel. Headliner is tastfully pinned in place. General Grabber tires w/ less than 2k miles(Consumer Report's highest rated truck tires), new Edelbrock manifold and carburetor (original also included). New water pump, new hoses, new belts, new battery, new radiator, new plugs, new wires, new distributor, and NEW OLD STOCK spare whitewall tire!!! Always maintained!!! Overall, the paint is in very good condition for it's age. The clear coat on the hood is duller than the rest of the body, but shines up nicely with a coat of wax. There are a few paint flakes around the windshield, but the primer is still there and two quarter size flakes on the bed rails. Some flaking on chrome side trim, but still looks very good. It would not take much to make this a SHOW TRUCK, or you could just appreciate it as one CHERRY SURVIVOR! Thank you for all the interest! Please email me with any questions.
