Up for auction is a 1966 C- Code Ford Mustang Fastback. The car has been gone through, and is ready for a new owner. You can fly into town and drive this baby cross country if that's what you would like to do! This Fastback was built in San Jose, Ca and has remained in The Bay Area, California all it's life, a true defintion of a California car. Since it is a true California car, there is no rust issues, no rot issues, and is as solid as they come. This Fastback left the factory with a 289 that has been completely rebuilt. Attached to this 289 is a completely rebuilt manual 4 speed top-loader transmission and Hurst shifter. Less then 200 miles since rebuild. Some of the other features which include: * 2 barrel carb * New dual exhaust * 9" rear end (posi unit) * 17" wheels on brand new tires * New suspension * New upper & lower control arms * New shocks (all four corners) * New sway bar & New export bar * New black interior (headliner, dash, seats, carpet kit, door panels) * New gauges and instrument panel * New front & rear bumpers * New lenses & bezels * New headlights, tail lights, reverse lights, and lenses * New grille * New chrome pieces throughout the car * New yellow paint with black racing stripes (less then 1 year old) * front disc brakes (front) drum in the (rear) I'm sure i may be forgetting a few items but you are more then welcomed to ask questions about the car. Overall this is a solid, running, and great looking 1966 Mustang Fastback. Turn key vehicle, hop in, and go. There are no mechanical issues at all, no leaks, and definately no problems. All lights, blinkers, wipers, etc are in working order. This is a vehicle you can fly into town, and drive it home cross country if need be. Very reliable. The winning bidder of this auction must submit a $500.00 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours after the end of the auction. The remaining balance must be payed no later then 7 days after then end of the auction as well. The vehicle will not be released until all payments, and funds have cleared my account, no exceptions! The buyer is also responsible for all shipping costs, and arrangements on the vehicle.
