1968 CAMARO LS1 PRO-TOURING PROJECT CAR NO RESERVE I am sell my 68 camaro due lack of space and desire to finish it. This car has been gone through and all rust removed. I had intentions of making this a reliable and fun car to drive. The LS1 motor is low milage (52,743) and is backed up by a 4L60E transmission. The car comes with the complete engine wiring harness and ECM from the donner car. The Touring Classics over sized front breaks will really bring this car to a stop. The front end of the car has been completely rebuilt and is equipped with QA1 adjustable coil-over front shocks. I purchased a CLASSIC AIR a/c system that has yet to be installed. The car has the deluxe interior but, the door pannells could use some work. The fuel tank has been sumped so the exterior mounted fuel pump would maintain a flow when the tank is low and not run dry. All components of the engine are in their origional location so you could get a belt an any auto parts store. All body work has been done and the car is slick and straight. The car has been painted velocity yellow (a 2007 corvette color). The 10-bolt rear end with mono-leaf springs will help put the rubber on the road. The interior of the car has been up-graded with bucket seats and newer style console. The rear seat has been covered with leather and matches the front. All this on top of new carpet. The quick response steering box will really make it responsive. I have included all the extra parts i have for this car. Which include; two drive shafts (one old style and one new style), any extra a/c stuff, exhaust pipes, o2 sensors, NEW complete break line set, a dual-fan radiator cooling fan. and anything else I have for it. Now for the things I know it needs. Fuel lines ran,electrical installed, a/c installed, engine cooling system installed, head liner installed, break lines installed, and I know there are always other things,but those come to mind. It is the buyers responsibilty to arrange shipping and I will help if I can. Local pick-up would be nice. I welcome inspection of the car by serious buyers (no tire-kickers). A $1500.00 deposit will be due within 24 hours after end of auction. ALL funds will have to clear be for car will be released. This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve to end the auction.
