What I have Forsale is a all original 1941 desoto custom 2 door coupe with 58,000 miles on it. First thing is, this car has been in dry storage for 30 years in Texas. The car came from a hard core mopar collector. the engine was started periodically up till 15 years ago. first thing we did was to shoot some oil down the cylinders and turn it over. next was a set of new plugs and points, and new battery. some fresh fuel down the carb and it was running like yesterday. engine purrs like a kitten, runs off a can of gas. the car will need the brakes serviced, they are not currently working. the transmission is called a fluid drive,a semi automatic. somebody called it a tiptoe automatic.this will also need to be serviced.The body is really decent,has a few dings.has old paint and will need repaint to make it nice.The interior is original and will need reupholstry, but could be used for a driver. the dash is all there and the gauges work! all out side trim is on the car and in good shape.the car will need to be trailered it is not driveable. We can help load the car , you will have to arrange shipping.
