This is an ORIGINAL 1970 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL COUPE- NOT RESTORED I'm the third owner of this gorgeous example of an automobile era. The car was bought from the original owner in 2000. I bought it from the second owner in 2007. The car has always been well maintained and garaged by all owners. It has never been in an accident. The car is not perfect, but it is darn close! There are no tears in the original seats, dash padding and viniyl top. The color is Seafoam Green and the interiors and top are dark green. Crome is good, some pitting on grill trim. Tires has less than 2000 miles. Original rubber carpets are included. Car has spent all its life in FLORIDA and Alabama. Attracks lots of people at car shows. Not the usual Mustang or Camaro which you are tired of looking at. This is a rarely seem model but at the same time parts are easy to find. The car includes: 460ci- Power Windows (4), Power Seat, Air Conditioning, Cornering Lights, Spare Tire Cover, Electric Antena, Dash Panel Padding, Vinyl Roof, 2 Speed Windshield Wipers with Windshield Washers, Day/Night Rear View Mirror, Hazard Warning Flasher, Head Restraints, Automatic Release Parking Brake, Concealed Dual Headlights, Rim Blow Steering Wheel, Folding Center Armrests, Seat Belts and Electric Antenna. Now for the best part,.....36,500 Original Miles. This is not a misprint. It has NOT rolled over 100,000 miles. Repeat 36,500 Original Miles...and, It looks like it inside and out. Drives straight, no squeeks, no rattles, no vibrations. Starts fast, shifts smoothly and bakes as it should. Straigh body, solid steel with no signal of major repairs. Solid doors and floors. No dents on the body. Original color but not original paint. Paint in good condition. Undercarriage is perfect with just light surfce rust. No salt damage! For reliability purposes the original carburator and ignition points were recently replaced with an equivalent new Holley Carburator and Pertronix electronic ignition. New gas tank changed by previous owner. Besides these parts only the valve covers (chrome) are not originals. Recently replaced the front brake hoses, the 4 suspension springs and shock absorbers. Additional Parts Included: Two outside mirrors (L & R), AM/FM radio (not tested), part # catalog on CD and shop manual on CD, Air Filter Decal "Continental 460". Defects: Most are documented with close up pictures. Please request more pictures or explanation if necessary. Few surface rust spots on the car. Worth ones are the one on the top right side (under vinyl) an the lid of the right rear panel. The clock and the A/C don't work. A/C is complete but compressor is freezed. Broken vinyl on armrest's. Broken cloth on lid behind rear seat. Ocassionally fails to turn engine when key is turned (probable ignition switch miscontact). On second try, starts perfectly. Looses vacum after few days without starting it. This causes headlights covers to open. Windshield washer don't work. Paint defects are hard to see from 10 Ft of distance. Every effort has been made to describe this car accurately. However, this is a 41 year old classic car and, as such, is being sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied in any way or form.
