71 Chevy C/10 Pickup Short bed 2-wheel drive I am the second owner of this truck that was in almost perfect condition when I purchased it back in 1988. The only flaw was a quarter size rust hole in the passenger rocker panel and a 2” rust area under the drivers foot. I had the truck completely media blasted of the original paint which revealed no other damage to the body. There is literally no body filler or rust on this truck. A meticulous frame off restoration done in 1999. Always garaged since restoration. Work included the following: Body/chassis All sheet metal removed and separated before media blasting Epoxy primer with PPG base coat/clear coat inside and out New body sealant (drip rails along cab roof, inner fenders, etc.) New GM Front cowl is powder coated for max durability New GM grill assembly New tinted glass and rubber through out New stainless bolt kit for entire truck New body mounts New window regulators and felt liners. Front A-arm bushings have been refurbished Engine/Transmision Summit block 355 CID/ approx 420 Hp Eldelbrock RPM aluminum heads and manifold Eldelbrock 750 Carb Comp hydraulic roller cam and rocker arms Steel crank Doug Thorley Heavy duty headers Turbo 350 transmission Power steering 3:73 rear end Interior Rebuilt factory gauges with Tachometer New GM dash pad New GM vinyl floor Refurbished bench seat ExteriorTires and wheels in virtually new condition The engine and transmission has approximately 5,000 miles on them since they were installed. The paint does have some small chips here and there. You will not a truck of this vintage that is straight as this one. The interior of the bed is in excellent condition. The original owner was a grandpa that drove it around Carson City. There are no holes, cuts, or rigging with this truck. The wiring is in perfect original condition, no splices or rats nest under the dash. All the small details such as new rubber stops for the doors, glove box, ash tray, tailgate have been replaced.
