This car is awesome to drive and turns heads!! Not many Black on Black ones around. This is a 2011 Ford Taurus SHO with Tuxedo Black paint and Charcoal Black leather interior. This Taurus comes with a 3.5-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine that makes 365 hp and a six-speed automatic transmission. This is the kind of car that goes to the very successful sales person. The interior has all the luxury appointments to coddle between appointments. There’s plenty of horsepower to keep the all those friends with German sedans in check. Most importantly it travels incognito as an American-made sedan. After all a good salesperson does not what his/her clients seeing a too flashy ride bought with their money, and an American car keeps all the patriotic clients happy. Inside of our tester car left no option box unchecked. The radio is not only an AM/FM/HD/Sirius unit, but because it has Ford’s Sync system, it will read the texts from your phone and even play its music via Bluetooth. Leather and carbon fiber are the two main interior materials. The seats are heated and air conditioned in the front, and heated in the rear. The driver’s seat even gets a massage function – something usually reserved for Mercedes top-end vehicles. The last Taurus SHO may have been a V8, but this V6 is larger and it’s turbocharged. The EcoBoost engine churns out 365 hp, which is about a 55% bump from its predecessor and puts this Taurus in the same power league as the Audi A6 4.2 and Mercedes E550. The best part is it still delivers 17/25 mpg city highway. Although this SHO can be compared to a German sedan on paper, it is still an American at heart. That means this does not drive completely like a BMW. The SHO has better highway manners than some of the Germans as it isolates from the road a little more than some of the competition. This same slightly dampened feel also means sports suspension doesn’t dip in the turns quite as much as many of the high-performance Germans. That doesn’t mean there isn’t any road feel. The SHO’s sport suspension works in conjunction with the all-wheel drive system to make sure there is grip, and it makes sure the driver can feel it through the wheel. In total this SHO lives up to its folklore. It has the engine and suspension to play in the same league as the other big sports sedans, but it holds a little bit back so the passengers don’t get queasy when the driver decides to have a little fun. This is a 2011 Ford Taurus SHO with Tuxedo Black paint and Charcoal Black leather interior. This Taurus comes with a 3.5-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine that makes 365 hp and a six-speed automatic transmission. This is the kind of car that goes to the very successful sales person.

The interior has all the luxury appointments to coddle between appointments. There’s plenty of horsepower to keep the all those friends with German sedans in check. Most importantly it travels incognito as an American-made sedan. After all a good salesperson does not what his/her clients seeing a too flashy ride bought with their money, and an American car keeps all the patriotic clients happy.

Inside of our tester car left no option box unchecked. The radio is not only an AM/FM/HD/Sirius unit, but because it has Ford’s Sync system, it will read the texts from your phone and even play its music via Bluetooth. Leather and carbon fiber are the two main interior materials. The seats are heated and air conditioned in the front, and heated in the rear. The driver’s seat even gets a massage function – something usually reserved for Mercedes top-end vehicles.

The last Taurus SHO may have been a V8, but this V6 is larger and it’s turbocharged. The EcoBoost engine churns out 365 hp, which is about a 55% bump from its predecessor and puts this Taurus in the same power league as the Audi A6 4.2 and Mercedes E550. The best part is it still delivers 17/25 mpg city highway.

Although this SHO can be compared to a German sedan on paper, it is still an American at heart. That means this does not drive completely like a BMW. The SHO has better highway manners than some of the Germans as it isolates from the road a little more than some of the competition. This same slightly dampened feel also means sports suspension doesn’t dip in the turns quite as much as many of the high-performance Germans. That doesn’t mean there isn’t any road feel. The SHO’s sport suspension works in conjunction with the all-wheel drive system to make sure there is grip, and it makes sure the driver can feel it through the wheel.

In total this SHO lives up to its folklore. It has the engine and suspension to play in the same league as the other big sports sedans, but it holds a little bit back so the passengers don’t get queasy when the driver decides to have a little fun.
