Up for auction is a 1977 3/4 ton camper special 4x4 chevy truck. This one hurts me to sell I love this truck but need to pay bills to keep roof over our head. I acquired this truck form the original owner who special ordered it from chevy in 1976 he drove the truck til 1984 then parked it due to illness the truck sat for aprox 25 years until i got it, so it truly only has 65,000 miles on it and when you drive it it feels like a new truck form 1977. When he ordered it he spared no expense this was a very heavily optioned truck options included, tinted glass, power windows and locks first year offered by chevy, air conditioning, heavy duty brakes, cruise control, power steering, silverado equipment package, chrome bumpers, sliding rear window, door edge guards, 4 wheel drive with factory locking differentials, accessory engine oil cooler, aux fuel tank, duel exhaust, transmission oil cooler, camper special package, tach, tilt wheel, 350ci motor. Basically he made his dream truck after all that he installed a 6 inch lift some where in there, and a vintage craig pioneer cassette player with and eq as well. When i got the truck I added a set of 35/12.50/16 Bfg km2 mud terrain tires that now have less than 500 miles on them with chevy hd rims of a 2003 and the correct lug nuts to run the stock center caps on the rims. Mechanically the truck is sound all the brakes are new on the truck including new calipers and wheel cylinders,shoes and pads, master cylinder as well. The motor received new intake gaskets, exhaust gaskets, belts and hoses a new water pump, thermostat and a new 3 row aluminum radiator for better heat transfer. I also had new dual exhaust put on the truck and all the ignition system was changed new plugs, wires ,rotor, cap and a hei distributor. The carb also had the float replaced and all the fluids were changed except trans and axles hadn't got to it yet. Trust me this truck runs great because i Hate being stranded when broken down.Overall the body is in great shape has a few dings and scratches but not bad for a 35 year old truck the original paint was rubbed out and shines in the sun I also had the seat reupholstered all the trim is in very good shape the chrome still shines although showing some pitting due to its age all the lights work even the dome light inside. The BAD it has two quarter size rust spots in the rear wheel wells one on each side and the carb is a little sticky on the high end due to sitting a few months( more than likely some crud in a jet) the rear tail lights could stand to be replaced and the tailgated small trim piece is off but i have it and the ac compressor took a dump on me last time i drove it . With a little tlc this truck could be the envy of all your friends. Happy bidding over seas buyers contact me before bidding!
