For sale is my 1965 Mercury Montclair in Black exterior and all white interior. I purchased this Montclair at a garage sale from the original owner's son in Cedar Rapids Iowa about 3 years ago. Apparently, grandma only drove this beauty on Sundays - and I can see why. The body is in very good shape. 98% rust free. Engine is a Ford 393. Currently has approx 74000 miles on it. I've only put about 4k miles on this amazing ride in the past 3 years. One thing I love about this ride is the spacious windows and the back slanted window. My commute is about 5 miles to work so I take this beauty in every day. Car information:body: 50Bcolor: Atrim: F6date: 30JDSO: 51axle: 1trans: 1VIN: 5Z52H510100 Things I've done to it:- three new tires (put 1500 miles on them)- new carb work- new gas pump- electrical work Things I noticed that need work:- small oil leak- small break fluid leak- front driver seat has a 9" rip along the seam stitching- heater and air conditioner- back window motor- driver side door has small bits of flaking bondo- far end of crome strip on door has slight bend- one or two small spots of rust on car- black paint in some areas needs freshening up I can provide pictures of the items that need work, if interested. Car is storage kept in smoke-free environment. Great for someone that wants to cruise.
