I bought the bike in 02' with twenty thousand miles on it from the origonal owner and have loved the additional sixty that I've ridden the machine. The bike is in very good condition and I serviced it this year with intentions of keeping it but have since fallen in love with another. New in recent months would include a 30 amp hr. bmw battery, Dunlop roadsmart tires with about a thousand miles on them and a rr. "ikon" shock. Old K-bike issues allready taken care of would include, newer style "one piece" drive shaft, newer style starter bruches,water/oil pump rebuilt with bmw seal upgrade kit, rr. brake master cyl. has also been replaced. The bike runs and rides fine, with no fault codes in engine managment or ABS. The front brake pads have about ten thousand on them, the rr. pads are getting close but a new set in the box comes in the deal. From the photos you will see that these are not the stock handlebars they are off a K-75 as set up by the origonal owner and I liked it so left them alone. The seat is a "corbin duel canyon" that could stand to be recovered but is still more comfortable that the stock seat which is in A-1 shape and also comes with the deal. Also included are the factory "intergal" saddle bags with all lateches and locks funtioning fine, the trunck box is a givi knockoff mounted on a custom tailrack fabricated from stainless steel modeled after a renolds. The areoflow windshield has seen better days but continues to work well. The front wheel bearings where replaced around sixty thousand and the final drive feels fine. The intake and throttle bodies have had all new rubber parts installed o-rings gaskets vaccume and fuel lines etc. Sold as is where is and for cash.
