Here is a 1950 Studebaker R-16 truck waiting for someone to restore it for use in hauling an antique or classic Studebaker car to shows. This was a farm truck, GVW 14,000. Mileage is estimated as speedometer is not believed to be operable. This truck has been sitting as is in a garage for a couple decades. To give you a head start on restoration the Commander motor has been disassembled. The crankshaft was turned. Needs bearings. Most, if not all, of rest of motor parts are there. Body sheet metal has some spots of rust-through, but much of it is solid. Gas tank is missing. Wheels on the truck are 7.50-17, and four 8.25-20 wheels will also be included with the truck. A second motor, with crankshaft and other parts, but missing the pan, is also included. Prospective bidders/buyers may arrange to view the truck at East Springfield, Erie County, PA (about 20 miles west of Erie). Good PA title will be transferred at time of sale via a PA licensed title clerk. Buyer will pay transfer fees and any sales tax due. Buyer may pay at time of title transfer.
